Visa to Greece

International visitors traveling to Greece must hold a valid passport or travel document. Greece is a member of the Schengen Area, and visa requirements depend on the visitor’s nationality.

Citizens of Schengen countries may enter Greece without a visa. Visitors from non-Schengen countries may require a Schengen visa. Participants are strongly advised to check the visa requirements applicable to their nationality well in advance of travel.

Detailed and up-to-date information on visa requirements for entry into Greece can be found on the official website of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

Applicants requiring a visa should apply through the nearest Greek Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence.
